About Me

I have worked in Special Educational Needs for over 15 years, teaching primary and secondary school learners in both state and private sectors. My interest in Dyslexia began some years ago when my daughter received her diagnosis and I began to support her through her school and university education. Since then, I have trained as a Specialist Dyslexia teacher and assessor and I am passionate about working with dyslexic and neurodiverse students and their parents to support them in their education and life beyond school.

Service Description

The main focus of my work is providing full diagnostic assessments and reports for Dyslexia/SpLDs and Access Arrangements assessments. The assessment/reporting process aims to help understand the pupil's strengths and weaknesses in order to provide a practical set of recommendations to support the individual in their education. Assessments are completed in consultation with your child's school and are in person. In addition, I offer tuition to children who are struggling with Literacy and Maths.
